Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” and enjoy the opportunity to explore the Atlas Film Studios if time permits (entry fee: €5, at your discretion).
In the afternoon, journey through the breathtaking Draa Valley before meeting your camel caravan. Ride through the serene Zagora Desert to your camp, where a traditional Berber dinner awaits under the star-filled desert sky.
Wake up to a stunning desert sunrise, followed by a hearty breakfast. Enjoy a leisurely camel ride back to the starting point before returning to Marrakech via the scenic route. Arrive in the evening, bringing your unforgettable desert journey to an end.
The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours one way, including several scenic stops along the route to stretch, explore, and take photos.
Zagora is located at the edge of the Sahara Desert, so the dunes here are smaller compared to those in Merzouga. However, the charm lies in the serene desert atmosphere and the overall experience of camel trekking and camping.
We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a warm jacket for the evening, and a small backpack for essentials. Don’t forget your camera to capture the breathtaking views!
